Delhi: Exploring Old & New Delhi (B)

Breakfast at Hotel and afterwards explore Delhi’s vibrant contrasts. Begin in Old Delhi, with its Mughal-era marvels like Jama Masjid and a thrilling rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk, & Drive Past tour of Red Fort. Journey to Agra: - 230 km/04 ½ Hours (B)

Wheels up after breakfast and drive to Agra. En route to Hotel, Visit the mighty Agra Fort, a grand red sandstone fortress that once served as the residence of the Mughal emperors. Explore its royal palaces, halls, and courtyards – including the very room where Shah Jahan was imprisoned, gazing at the Taj Mahal from afar.

In Afternoon visit the Taj Mahal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, its white marble façade and intricate inlay work captivate visitors from around the globe.

Day 4

Road to Bharatpur: Heaven for Bird watchers & Birding (B & D)

Leave Hotel after breakfast and drive to Bharatpur, A Famous Bird Sanctuary & former hunting lodges of Maharaja’s. Check in hotel and later in Afternoon proceed for the First Game Drive with expert naturalist and mode of transportation will be the bicycle Rickshaw. explore the different types of birds, animals, flora & fauna. return to hotel.

Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary (officially known as Keoladeo National Park) is one of Asia’s finest avian reserves. Spanning over 29 square kilometres of wetlands, woodlands, and grasslands, it is home to more than 370 species of birds, including migratory visitors from as far as Siberia and Central Asia. Rare species like the Siberian crane, painted stork, pelican, and countless waterfowl make it a paradise for birdwatchers and photographers. The park can be explored on foot, by cycle rickshaw, or bicycle, offering serene encounters with nature.

Beyond birds, Bharatpur also shelters deer, wild boar, and reptiles, making it a must-visit for wildlife enthusiasts.

Day 5

Bharatpur: (B/D)

Leave early morning for the Second Game drive with Naturalist on bicycle rickshaw in Bird Sanctuary because it’s time for the bird to be more active. Explore the wetlands and spot the water birds like Painted Storks, Pelicans, Darters, Egret and common cormorants and in winter’s you can see Bar Headed Geese & Ducks.

Return to hotel for breakfast and free time till afternoon.

Afternoon proceed the third Game drive in Sanctuary, you can enjoy the ride or sometimes you can walk through the wooded route to find the kingfishers, Woodpeckers, Owls and Drango’s. This time you will visit the grasslands, dry areas where you can spot Marsh Harrier, Spotted Eagle, & Sarus Crane. Enjoy the sunset and return to hotel. Dinner at hotel.

Day 6

Drive to Dholpur (B&D)

Post Breakfast leave hotel and drive to Dholpur. on arrival check in hotel. in afternoon proceed for the boat ride in Chambal River to spot gharials, crocodiles, river dolphins, and rare birds. Return to hotel and dinner will be served in hotel.

Journey to Ranthambhore (B/D)

Depart from hotel after breakfast and drive to Ranthambhore. on arrival check in hotel. Afternoon is in leisure or you can take an optional tour of Ranthambhore Fort (COST – INR 1500/ Per Person) . Tiger Talk in Hotel in Evening and dinner at hotel.

Former Royal hunting ground of the Maharajas of Jaipur, Ranthambhore National Park is today one of India’s most famous wildlife reserves. the park is renowned for offering some of the best chances to spot the majestic Royal Bengal Tiger in its natural habitat, here you can see leopards, sloth bears, hyenas, jackals, marsh crocodiles, sambar deer, and over 300 bird species. Ranthambhore National Park (B/L/D)

Early start with a first Morning Game Safari in Gypsy (4x4), the best time to spot tigers and other elusive wildlife. The golden light of dawn makes it perfect for photography. Return to hotel for breakfast. Post Lunch depart for the Second Game Drive in Gypsy with naturalist in National Park.

Post Safari Return to hotel and enjoy the free time. Dinner will be served at hotel.

Road to Jaipur: The Royal Pink City (B/L)

Breakfast at hotel and drive to Jaipur with Packed Lunch. En route visit the Chand Baori stepwell is one of India’s deepest and most visually striking stepwells. Built over 1,200 years ago. This architectural wonder descends over 13 stories and has 3,500 perfectly symmetrical steps, forming an intricate geometric pattern. Adjacent to the stepwell is the ancient Harshat Mata Temple, believed to be a symbol of joy and prosperity.

Chand Baori has featured in Hollywood films like The Dark Knight Rises and The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, making it a popular stop for both history lovers and photographers.

  • Wear comfortable walking shoes for the climb.
  • Carry a hat, sunscreen, and water.
  • Photography is best in early morning or late afternoon.
  • Respect local devotees at the Ganesh Temple.

 

Tips for Jungle Lover’s for Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary

  • Best explored by cycle rickshaw with a naturalist (eco-friendly and comfortable).
  • Carry binoculars and a camera with zoom lens for best viewing.
  • Wear comfortable walking shoes, light cotton clothes, and a cap/hat.
  • Avoid loud noise; move slowly for better sightings.
  • Best season: October to March for migratory birds.

  • Winter (October – March): 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
    • Early morning and late afternoon are the best times for birdwatching, as birds are most active then.

 

Tips for Ranakpur Jain Temple Complex

  • Wear clothing that covers shoulders, arms, and legs.
  • Remove shoes, socks, belts made of leather, and any leather items before entering.
